HealthPAC
HealthPAC (Health Program of Alameda County) was launched on July 1, 2011 for uninsured Alameda County residents. It expands on the current County Medical Service Program, by drawing down federal funding made available through California’s Medicaid 1115 Waiver. This waiver will help the state transition to the federal healthcare reforms that will take effect in January 2014, related in particular to Medi-Cal expansion. HealthPAC is available to all Alameda County residents whose income is under 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.
